Bible Prophecy In The News is a web site dedicated to proclaim the soon return of Jesus Christ

Major signs present today such as the rebirth of Israel and the rise of fundamental Islam point to the end of this age

The Bible says that just prior to the return of Jesus Christ, Israel will be threatened by her surrounding neighbors

The nations that are mentioned in the Bible to come against Israel in the last days are all Middle Eastern nations

These nations are referred to by their ancient names

They are referred to by the prophets as the ''surrounding nations'' or the ''nations round about Israel''

Any modern map will show that these nations are: Turkey, Libya, Sudan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Iran and Saudi Arabia among others

These are the very nations the prophets said would come against Israel in the last days (cf. Isaiah 14, 34; Ezekiel28, 38; Joel 3; Zechariah 12, 14; Psalm 83)

While the Christian Church expects a confederacy of European nations to form against Israel, a Middle Eastern confederacy is already being formed

The Bible clearly points to a confederacy of Middle Eastern nations to come against Israel in the last days

There is one thing that unites all these nations against Israel and that is the religion of Islam!

It is time for Christians to wake up and look at the right direction.
''And when these things begin to come to pass, the look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.'' (Luke 21:29)

It is also the purpose of this minsitry to present the distinction between Israel (the Northern Kingdom) and Judah (the Southern Kingdom) where Jews come from and who  fuflilled prophecy and returned to the promised land  to form the modern day Jewish State of Israel which should have been called the modern Jewish State of ''Judah'', for the name ''ISRAEL'' legally and biblically belongs to the Northern Kingdom . This concept is overlooked by most main stream prophecy ministries and I myself was a victim of this error and that can be seen in most of my articles where I confuse Judah with Israel and Israel with Judah by mixing both together missaplying prophetic Scripture to one kingdom when it is addressed to the other.
Eventully all of my articles will have to be either revised or re-written in order to fix these errors. I thank my good friend Jeff Booth for bringing this subject to my attention which has caused the prophetic scriptures to become more alive than ever to me personally. For those of you who are interested to know more about this subject, I suggest you to go to our article page and read all the articles written by Jeff. You will realize that there is a lot more to Bible prophecy than you have ever imagined. One major example is Ezekiel 38 & 39. (Continued below)

Most prophecy students are expecting Gog of Magog to invade the modern Jewish State of Israel know in Bible times as the southern Kingdom of Judah also known as the ''house of Judah'' in contradistinction to the northenr Kingdom of Israel also know as the ''house of Israel'' or the ten tribes. Here is the big problem. Judah or the Jews are never mentioned in Ezekiel 38 &39 therefore the prophecy is not addressed to them. Only the house of Israel of the northern Kingdom mentioned four times is addressed in the passage and ONLY the house of Israel which currently DOES NOT abide in the Holy Land and WILL NOT until the beginning of the Millennium when Jesus gathers the ten tribes from the four corners of the earth to be joined with Judah in the promised land will fulfill the prophecy of Ezekiel 38 & 39.
I ask you, the reader, for forgiveness for not presenting to you the whole counsel of God as it should be. I spent most of time as a student of prophecy reading books written by man than reading God's word itself. Thank God He brought Jeff to my life who has been studing this subject for the past 30 years and knows very well what he is talking about. It is time that we as Chritians put aside the teachings and traditions of men which make the word of God of no effect and start paying attention to what God has told us in his word concerning this subject. Most people make a distinction between Israel and Judah in the history of the two nations but when it comes to prophecy, Israel is forgotten and only Judah is focused upon  as representing ''all'' Israel causing a multitude if confusion in the field of eschatology which I myself was a victim of.
It is my hope and prayer that every one of you who visit our web site can come to understand this subject as well as I have.

God bless you all!

Jeff Booth Became a Christian in 1969 and traveled to Israel before attending Church. He was injured in a terrorist bombing in Jerusalem in 1979. He's been to Israel four times and lived there for a total of two years. His favorite city: Haifa.

Jeff led Yacov (Jacob) Damkani, director of Trumpet of Salvation  to the Lord in the 1970's. You can read about it in his book "Why Me." Jacob now preaches the Gospel all over Israel. Jeff also had opportunities to witness to other Jewish people with some degree of success. (Also had an opportunity to lead a Muslim school teacher to Christ while in Amman, Jordan.)
His two favorite biblical subjects are prophecy and the lost tribes.
